HOLE 1 • THE WOODS • PAR 4
Although a short par 4, be aware.
Pro Tip: “Left side is out of bounds , your drive must be placed on the right side of the fairway in order to give the best angle into a tight but long green which slopes from left to right..”
HOLE 2 • CRAIG VIEW • PAR 4
A sloping Par 4.
Pro Tip: “A tight drive with out of bounds left and trouble to the right.
Approach shot must be accurate as this undulating green can be the cause of many three putts.”
HOLE 3 • NIEBALD FIELD • PAR 3
Possibly the toughest par 3 in the area.
Pro Tip: “A long iron or fairway wood must be played accurately to a well guarded green. Don’t go long or right as you could well end up with a lost ball.”
HOLE 4 • THE COPSE • PAR 4
A blind summit awaits.
Pro Tip: “Ensure your tee shot is either short or long of the trees on the right . A sloping fairway from left to right with out of bounds left ensures an uneven stance to a tight green.”
HOLE 5 • BELHAVEN • PAR 4
Be prepared to give the ball a good whack!
Pro Tip: “Time to hit it hard. Plenty of room to go for a big drive. Approach shot to a well bunkered green will be hit with a short iron and will give the best chance of a birdie so far.”
HOLE 6 • CLEEK I'M • PAR 3
A favourite for those who enjoy a hole in one…
Pro Tip: “Beautiful par 3 to a heavily bunkered green which slopes left to right. Get the right bounce here and a hole in one could be yours.”
HOLE 7 • FAR EAST • PAR 4
Focus is key here
Pro Tip: “Don’t go left on this intimidating hole. Play for the middle of the fairway and take your chance with a mid to long iron second shot.”
HOLE 8 • IF YE DARE • PAR 4
A chance for a Birdie
Pro Tip: “Tee shot should be played to the left centre of the fairway leaving a short approach to a green which slopes from front to back. Don’t go long here.”
HOLE 9 • THE PADDOCK • PAR 5
See you back at the bar…
Pro Tip: “Tee shot must be played with out of bounds left, bunker right and burn running across the fairway at 270 yards. For the long hitter the green is in range in two shots for shorter hitters lay up with a medium iron and play your third with birdie in mind..”

Our opening hole begins with a wide fairway to ease you in and let you take out the big guns. There are two lovely par 3s which will prove tricky to stay out of trouble. And the par 5 9th will bring you in with a difficult dogleg which has undone many a seasoned golfer.
